Teenager

Happy birthday to my first born. Tyler! How are you 13!? Feels impossible, yet the best thing ever.
All Tyler wanted for his birthday was money and a Jurassic Park movie marathon. Pinterest helped with this idea. Now Audrey and Cole are both requesting money bouquets for their next birthdays.
We had movie food and a few friends over once we got to Jurassic World.
Frankie, Nick, Kayleigh, and Alyssa.
Love that he still wants to put together lego sets, though.
Donuts for breakfast and In-N-Out after baseball practice on his actual big day. 13 felt all about food, money, and friends.
Soooo proud of this kid and the person he's becoming. Tyler still loves baseball above all, but is enjoying the runners club at school (I kinda hope cross country is in his future.) He just got 4.0 honor roll for second semester in a row. Joined Jr. Honor Society. Is deacon quorum president at church. Tyler is a fabulous friend, and brother (and son for that matter.) He's on top of his work, he's helpful, he's funny and witty. He loves to ready, Xbox, go to the movies, play basketball out front, and still builds legos in his room with Cole. Tyler is our adventurous eater, and learned to cook this year and loves it. I can depend on him - he's truly a rock in our family. Here's to our teenager! Excited to see what the year brings.

Open House Week

Pretty much sums up the last couple weeks here - lots of rainy days:
Throwback to our anniversary charcuterie night in. And Adam got me perfect diamond stud earrings I've wanted forever.
Audrey finished her science project! Cottage cheese got the grossest.
Took these two to see our friends in The Wizard of Oz with the theater company where Audrey does summer camp. We loved it! Such a great production for kids with real orchestra - got inspired to get more involved. Audrey wants to sign up for Annie in the fall, and with the right show I think Tyler and Cole would, too.
First track practice this week!
Open House at the elementary school. One of my favorite nights.
All my kids with our all-time favorite teacher, Mrs. Adachi. She was Tyler's first teacher when we moved here, and little did we know we hit the jack pot. She's since had all the Tait kids and Cole this year. I'm so glad they all got her - she means the world to us.
Cole showing off his work:
Audrey's turn. She's loved her year with Mr. Storch and he's a fantastic teacher. Cole already wants him since all the kids in his class get their own iPad ;).
Art fair:
Love these two and seeing their classrooms and school work - they work so hard, and are great little students.
