Thanksgiving

So much to be thankful for! Wonderful friendsgiving dinner with the Bartys. We are lucky to have such great friends nearby. The food was delicious, the kids love playing together, and nice to catch up.
We Black Friday shopped, saw Ralph Breaks the Internet, ate leftovers, and put up some Christmas.

From earlier this week. Adam and I had a nice temple date:
Lots of friends time!
Lazing around and reading in bed:
Waiting for more friends:
Tyler had an awesome baseball game. Pitched great and got the game ball! This has been a fun team for him - always enjoy watching fall ball.
Cole thinks they're his headphones:
Snuggly Rey. It's actually getting "cold" here, especially in the mornings. We made sure to save her some turkey.

Seven

Happy birthday Cole! He is finally official.
Cole is still our feisty guy. He's going through a big dinosaur (Jurassic World) phase. Still loves sharks and legos. Soccer and baseball. He's reading like crazy, especially comics and graphic novels. Is obsessed with keeping up with his big brother and sister. My favorite is when I take him somewhere, just him and me, and he talks and talks and talks - telling me about his day in his cute little voice. He still feels like my baby, and maybe always will. Love our funny, smart, witty, stubborn, silly littlest guy. So lucky he's a part of our family.

More from the week:
Tyler made Cole his signature cinnamon roll nuggets Saturday morning.
We all got to cheer him on at his soccer game:
Soccer pictures. Apparently he had tattoos all over his arms that week...
The whole team:
Audrey's game was supposed to be in Thousand Oaks this weekend, but was postponed due to the fire. She and I snuck out to a mommy/daughter Nutcracker date. It was such a nice afternoon.
Tyler and friends celebrated Frankie's birthday and had a movie of their own:
Cole did lots of birthday celebrating this weekend - got bounce and play with a bunch of friends at Carter's party:
Birthday breakfast of choice - Lucky Charms, milk on the side:
This guy taking after his brother and lego building like crazy:
Youth night at the temple. Such a neat group:
Never get tired of watching this girl and her cute teammates on the soccer field:
And yay for voting!

Cole's Award Day

Cole had a special day at school. Got an award for "Owl-standing Scholarship", and celebrated his birthday with his school friends and double-stuffed oreos. It was a good one.
Cute award winners from his class:
Posted by Mrs. Adachi, and he wore his new Jurassic World necklace:

Harry Potter Birthday

This year we celebrated Cole's birthday a few days early, and played hooky at Universal Studios. Tyler and Cole had been dying to go since I took Audrey, plus we've had a very Harry Potter year. It was the best day! Wonderful weather, no crowds, we rode everything over and over, and really enjoyed each other. Couldn't have asked for a better day celebrating our boy (except if Adam got to tag along.) Grateful for this day off together. Now picture overload!
Cole rode Hagrid's Hut five times, he loved it!
 Tyler's wand chose him!
 Cole's Gryffindor!
Tyler's Hufflepuff. Now we're all sorted. Three Gryffindors, two Hufflepuffs.
Butter beer! Frozen was the fave this trip.
Love this boy.
Audrey got a wand, so we were able to do all the magic:
Lunch at Three Broomsticks was delish, plus pumpkin fizz.
Audrey eating ribs was everything!!
Found Jurassic World, and Cole saw Blue! He was dying to hit the Jurassic gift shop, too - couldn't stop talking about it. This kid is in a huge dino phase.
Birthday sweets from Honeydukes:
We saw the Animal Actors show, and Waterworld.
Happy birthday to our super awesome, funny, smart, full of personality, almost-seven year old Cole. We love you sooo much, and are so lucky you're in our family.
